The Last Few Weeks

Yeah, ok, so it's been a little over 2 weeks since my last post. Thankfully my husband came in an saved the day and gave everyone a bit of a narration of what my crazy life has been like since Hayley started walking. It is awesome, but exhausting. She is anywhere and everywhere and into everything! I really love it. I am sad that her chunky thighs seem to be thinning out though. I truly find it hysterical that she is walking everywhere, almost running, and not one tooth! Here are some pics of the last couple weeks.

Here we are at the Durham Fair. We tried to walk with the doggie backpack, but she wasn't into it. She liked to have it on, but wanted to be in the stroller.

Clearly, she wouldn't let me take it off after we got home.

She loves her new firetruck. Unfortunately she is still too little for it, but she doesn't care and we just push her around in it everywhere.

We have been having a couple dinners at Shah's house since both our husbands have been gone the same evenings, and so Hayley and Aurora got a bath together. They loved it! Hayley loved the babies in the tub.

Today Cara and Miles and Katie and Alexa came over for a play date. In case you don't know, these are two mom's I met when Hayley was 2 weeks old at breastfeeding group at Middlesex. All our kids are within a month of each other, and since Cara moved to New Hampshire, we haven't seen her in awhile, so we all got together this morning. It was a blast seeing how big all our babies have gotten. They're all toddlers now, no more babies! All three and walking and tackling each other and fighting over toys. We pretty much laughed the whole time. It was a great visit!

I think this was how we found Alexa in the kitchen after we pried Miles off of her - fighting over the bench possibly? It was pretty funny.

We took about 20 pictures trying to get a good one of all 3, this one came out the best. Look at how little Alexa looks next to Hayley!

Alexa was exhausted. She stood at the door, looking at the car like, "Mommy, can we please go home now?"

I make no promises to update more often, but I will as often as I can. With Hayley pretty much at one nap now, I get very little free time these days.
